In the app or on the web: sign in, open Settings, scroll to Account and tap Delete account. Confirm, and the account is removed immediately.
What is deleted: your account, sign-in details, reading activity and streaks, bookmarks, highlights, outlines, group memberships and posts, and any groups you own (including their events). Nothing is retained afterwards; there is no recovery period.
What is not affected: data kept only on your device (reading position, preferences). Uninstalling the app removes that.
Open Settings → Account → Your data. Choose any combination of reading activity and streaks, bookmarks, highlights, reading position, outlines, group posts, group memberships (and groups you own), reports you filed, or your block list, and tap Delete selected. The deletion is immediate and permanent; your account stays open. The same screen lets you download everything the server holds about you as one JSON file.
Everything you store on the server is encrypted at rest and in transit.
If you cannot sign in, email damien.mackinnon@teamchrome.ai from the address linked to your account, and the account will be deleted for you.
